Srivikorn Group was established in 1962 by Mr. Chalermbhand Srivikorn and Khunying Sasima Srivikorn with the aspiration of building strong businesses which would contribute to societal development and raising the standard of living for the Thai people. The Srivikorn school was the first organization to be set up, and family member all played their part in driving the project to its success as a well-respected educational institution in Thailand. From this starting point, the doors of opportunity have led to the development of a wide-ranging portfolio of businesses, from hospitality and property development to manufacturing of sanitaryware (American Standard Plc), ceramics (Thai-German Ceramic Industry Plc.), and carpets (Thailand Carpet Manufacturing Plc.). Recent international expansion has seen Srivikorn Group enter into the U.K., growing its hospitality business to include the Millennium Hotel in Reading, the acquisition of Alstons Furniture Group, and DM Midland Group, two of the major upholstered furniture companies in the market.

The Srivikorn family continues to hold a majority shareholding in the Group Holdings and actively navigate the company’s direction towards sustainable growth, while abiding by the same core priciples the Group has held since its early days.
