Continuous improvement, as a key management ethos, is a vital force that narrows the gap of imperfection in the real everyday life and the ideal quality. Inspired by this, the Company has extended programs to also cover environmental protection.
As a manufacturer, T.C.H. Suminoe Co., Ltd. is committed to ethics and environmental responsibilities in addition to quality and customer satisfactions. By earnest efforts and continuous improvements, on 17 December 2003, the Company was honored the prestigious ISO 14001 UKAS environmental management certificate via AJA (Anglo Japanese American) Registrars in Bangkok.
The idea of implementing the ISO 4001 series of international standards is to incorporate environmental aspects into operations and product standards. This is voluntary, but for both environmental and business benefits, more and more organizations are getting registered. The ISO 14001 was established in September 1996 by the International Organization of Standardization, following the ISO 9000 series success. It requires implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with defined standard. These include establishing environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products, activities and services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, checking and setting corrective actions, and management reviews. The attainment of its ISO 14001 certification represents another resource of great pride of T.C.H. Suminoe. The Company will continue to take part in upgrading the quality of life of its staff, the industry and the Thai society.
Today, the Company is a subsidiary of TCMC, as a part of the group’s policy of the Group to consolidate all manufacturing business under one company.
